About Me

My photo
Andrea Olson
La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States
Hey my name is Andrea and I started writing this blog to share some of my favorite drink recipes and to try a few new ones. My love affair with mixology started a few years ago when I was hired at my first bartending job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin when I was 18. I bartended there for 8 months until I moved back to my hometown La Crosse, Wisconsin. Once in La Crosse, I started bartending at Helm Bar located on La Crosse's infamous 3rd street. Next,I worked just a few doors down from The Helm at Arena Sports Bar and Night Club. next,I start another bartending job at Buzzard Billy’s Flying Carp CafĂ©. I have continued to work here for the last 9 months and enjoy it very much. I recently picked up a second bartending job at Broncos which is conveniently located right in between The Helm and Arena right on 3rd street. This would make it the 5th bartending job I had before the age of 21! For my age, I have had quite a bit of experience bartending in different cities and many different kinds of bars and even though I still have a lot to learn, this experience has allowed me to become decently well rounded in the art of mixology.
